_Biography
Sarah Fuchs (she/her) is a Norwegian photographer and visual artist based in Berlin.
Her work is characterised by dreamy moods, rich textures, and deep colours, spanning genres from fashion, to portraiture and conceptual art.
Through her lens, Sarah seeks to find beauty in the moments in between. Her work embraces imperfection, not as a flaw but as a form of truth, valuing presence over perfection. She resists art as artifice, aiming instead to induce her work with emotion. Her work celebrates the transformative power of photography while creating imagery that challenges our perception of reality.
While born in Norway, Sarah has lived and worked in various countries including the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and Germany. She holds a bachelor's degree in Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics from the University of Amsterdam, a master's in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics, and a diploma in Curation from Berlin University of the Arts.
Her work has been exhibited internationally in Germany, the UK, and Japan.
